A global leader with a wealth of experience

I left my home country, Denmark, in 1992. Not because I was unhappy about the taxes, the weather or anything else. I just wanted to explore the world for some years. What a journey it has been.

Belgium is my current residence and that is my 8th country to live in. Work has brought me to almost every corner of the world. I have been on the Board of a company in 27 countries by now. From Australia to Canada, Argentina to South Korea and South Africa to Norway.

I have a Master of Business Administration degree. My career started in Finance and I made it to CFO before I had the opportunity to run Sales and Marketing of the Americas Region and I started understanding customers. Later I became globally in charge of Sales and Marketing and learned more about sales, communication and branding. Since then I have been in charge of Strategy, been a Consultant, then another stint as CFO and the last corporate assignment was as Operations responsible of EMEA & APAC.

My career has mostly been in the shipping, logistics and supply chain industry and has included companies like Maersk Line, Safmarine and Wallenius Wilhelmsen. I have however already had consulting jobs in diverse companies ranging from the meat processing industry to on-line start-up companies.
